Introduction to Animation
1. What’s animation - animation follows the same principle as video. A series of images plays one after the other to create the illusion of movements.
The aim was to do my animation and I have done one using the following tools.
A ball.
A Rectangle.
2. I have learnt how to use the frames and play one after the other. I was using 24 frames while I was doing my animation.
It was my first time doing animation and it was easy i have learnt a lot of things from it that will prepare me for the future with my work it will help me a lot and will make me not worry about anything in the future.
I have learnt about frames and frames per second and how many frames the TV uses.
TV - 25 FPS
Cinema - 24 or 48 FPS
Video games - 30 or 60
FPS - frimes per second

understanding idents and storyboarding for moving image
An ident is a short sequence shown on TV that identifies the channel.
the purpose of an ident is to establish the branding of the channel it also sets the tone and the mood.
the most interesting persuasive devices are the slogan persuasive device and also the Humour.
The BBC Three logo sets all the moods happy and sad and others the dark grey Three logo and they have animated different characters each one of them presenting something in the cinematography low angle and mid-camera shot
